The Material What is Polyester?
Polyester is a long chain synthetic textile fiber that is extensively used
in the medical, bedding, clothing, geo-textile and construction industries.
Being safe, non toxic and light weight with a high tensile strength and robustness make Polyester Material very advantageous for a number of products.
It is also largely unaffected by moisture making it ideal for insulation and soundproofing products.

Polyester fibers are used to make soft, fluffy, acoustic and thermal insulation products in ether rolls, batts or sheets.
For soundproofing and acoustic purposes, the product is made at a heavy density. Generally, the heavier the density the higher the soundproofing performance.
Soundproofing Products Australia Polyester Batts contain no added Formaldehyde Binders, making them itch free, and require no protective clothing to install, making them a safe insulation option for you & your family.
Our Polyester Soundproofing Products also have a Zero Ozone Depleting (ODP) rating, contain negligible Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and 80% of the fibers that go into Polyester Batts are recycled from plastic bags & other packaging materials, so they are safer for the planet too.
Polyester also meets the Australian Standard AS/NZS1530.3 for fire safety
