Composition of Nuwrap5 Acoustic Pipe Lagging

Nuwrap5 has 3 layers laminated together to create a flexible, easy to cut & install acoustic pipe insulation wrap.

Nuwrap5 uses a heavy-duty flexible sound-blocking layer as the main acoustic barrier. On 1 side of this barrier is a special foam decoupling layer that breaks the vibration path between the pipe and the sound barrier. Finally, we apply a facing of reinforced foil to the other side for fire protection using quality tapes such as Kingspan Aluminium Foil Tape.

The combination creates a high performance, flexible, easy to install pipe lagging that provides excellent sound reduction from pipework.

To ensure the optimum fire resistance as required by Australian Standard AS1530.3, Nuwrap5 comes with a reinforced foil facing. This facing provides a 4 zero’s fire rating which is the highest possible for the test.
